Since its inception in 2014, Jensen & Scheele and Volvo have been faithful suppliers of our convoy cars. And even in 2023, we are fortunate that we will once again have the opportunity to utilize the fantastic Volvos from Jensen & Scheele and Bilia.

A cycling race doesn’t only consist of riders on bikes. There is also a need for a multitude of cars to transport all the officials simultaneously through the course. This includes, for example, commissioners (judges) with various responsibilities to ensure that the race rules are followed, neutral service cars that assist in case of any cycling accidents, cars that ensure that the technical aspects of the race are functioning, press and media cars that follow the race, a promotional car in front to create good atmosphere along the course, and various VIP cars where sponsors and partners join in to experience the race from the “inside.”
In addition, there are, of course, many motorcycles, police cars, and ambulances that ensure the safety of both riders and spectators along the way.

All of these convoy cars are provided by Jensen & Scheele, and we are fortunate to have access to the newest and most impressive Volvos on the market. Approximately 30 Volvos will be branded and delivered, and this year, almost the entire fleet will consist of fully electric cars – a perfect fit for our environmental profile as an environmentally certified sports event.
The branding is once again being handled by Skilt & Fasadehjelpen, and with this combination of excellent suppliers, we are ensured that our fleet of cars will once again be the finest in the entire international WorldTour circus.

The cars are ready for delivery now, and we are looking forward to being able to start using them.
