Ladies Tour of Norway – a World Tour event featuring the women’s road bicycle elite in a unique, Scandinavian landscape setting – will partner with Spring Media for its 7th annual competition between August 13th–16th, 2020. Spring Media will take on the role as media partner: being the production arm and distributing the event to markets worldwide.
The competition, hosted in Southeastern Norway, will take on 4 stages of close to 550 kilometers total, covering more ground locally than ever before while crossing over to neighboring Sweden. Ladies Tour of Norway has established itself as one of the leading and most innovative female bicycle competitions worldwide and continues to take steps of development.
The race organization – comprised of personnel with solid experience from various major UCI events in Norway, local host club Halden CK, and other enthusiasts eager to promote women’s cycling – are describing an extreme surge in global interest for its 2020 edition.
All 8 World Tour teams and a select fourteen highly ranked by the Union Cycliste International (UCI) will partake. Ladies Tour of Norway thus guarantees a starting list rare to most other competitions worldwide. Dutch poster name Marianne Vos (team CCC-Liv) has topped the podium three consecutive years, yet route variations and challenging terrain leave room for a contender.
Roy Moberg, Race Director at Ladies Tour of Norway, comments:

We expect this partnership to give us a stronger foothold internationally through more extensive global distribution, while upholding a high-quality distribution nationally. Spring Media are innovative in its solutions, particularly when it comes to digital platforms. We wish to be innovative in relation to the TV-product that we’re developing: with care for stable production solutions while also attracting a younger crowd through digital exposure.
